Gypsum board production is a simple but careful process. Raw Gypsum is more important to Gypsum Board . Raw Gypsum is  the main material of gypsum board. This raw gypsum is extracted from quarries. Gypsum is brought from the mine to the factories. Here, domestic transportation becomes very important. This extracted gypsum is crushed in large machines and turned into a fine powder. Then, this gypsum powder is dried at high temperatures. With this process, the water in the gypsum completely evaporates and a dry powder remains. This powder is called “calcined gypsum”. Calcined Gypsum is the foundation of Gypsum Board.

2.Production phase in the gypsum board facility

Then, the calcined gypsum is mixed with a certain amount of water and brought to a liquid paste consistency. Sometimes special additives are added to the mixture to increase its durability. Raw materials such as silicone, fiber, cellulose, etc. are used as additives.

4.Between Two Papers

The plaster between these two papers is passed through special machines to reach the desired thickness. This structure, which is in the form of a sheet, has not yet completely solidified. For this reason, it is passed through production lines approximately 80 meters long. It is cut to the desired length and sent to drying ovens. Plasterboards that are completely dried in the ovens harden and become durable.

Gypsum Board production in the last stage, the dried sheets are smoothed from the edges. Gypsum board are subjected to quality control. After each sheet is checked, it is packaged. Gypsum boards are  produced in this way are frequently used in the construction. At the same time Gypsum board is  important one of  decoration materials.
